Tomorrow: sketches of your (and) my history

Exhibition and discussion program "Tomorrow: essays on your (and) my history" March 10-20

Within the framework of the National Month of Women's History and Activism at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aytiev from 10 to 20 March will host the exhibition and discussion program "Tomorrow: essays on your (and) my history."

The opening of the exhibition and the creative workshop of Solidarity will take place on March 10 at 16:00, which will continue with a discussion program for 8 days.

The main idea of ​​the exhibition is to construct one's own history and build a conversation about the situation of “invisibility” of a series of social injustices that lie at the cultural, political, economic and other levels.

The exhibition and discussion program will touch upon topics from the history of women activists and leaders of Soviet Kyrgyzstan to topics that are relevant today in the context of Kyrgyzstan: independent decision-making, the ability to choose, constructing their history, strategies and practices of gaining subjectivity.

The exhibition will showcase the work of Kyrgyz activists / s, feminists, women's organizations and initiatives using visual means as a way to communicate their views and questions
The activities carried out within the framework of the national campaign are aimed at highlighting and mainstreaming the issues of promoting women's rights and gender equality through political participation.
