The public organization Bishkek Feminist Initiatives announces the competition "Kuchtukyz 2.0". This is a program to support projects that will promote the rights of women and girls through mini-grants. This competition is being implemented on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants' projects should be formed taking into account feminist values, projects should not discriminate against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, regional affiliation, religion and belief, gender, health status, sexual orientation and gender identity, profession and other characteristics, and should not violate or go against the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic and international conventions on human rights. Projects should be implemented taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, and should not jeopardize the health of the participants. They can focus on strengthening groups of girls, young women, eco-activism, feminist storytelling, etc. Conditions for participation: Persons from 15 to 25 years old can participate, or a group of people, 2/3 of which are people from 15 to 25 years old (at the time of application). Priority will be given to candidates with female gender socialization * The maximum duration of the project is 2 calendar months. The application deadline is August 16, 2020.
