On December 10th 5PM Bishkek activists and artists present their project “16 days – 16 stencils”. The presentation space will be open from 4 to 8 PM and is located at 149 Bokonbaev street. Guests will be welcomed with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate from coffee bar “Chocolate” and can take free copies of the artwork (calendars, stickers, posters and postcards).
Artists and activists collaborated to create stencils during the national campaign “16 days of activism to end gender-based violence” – 16 days between November 25th, International day to end violence against women, and December 10th, International human rights day. These stencils and drawings express the idea that violence against women and girls is a human rights violation and should be eliminated.
